Quote of the Moment

“If anyone wants to save the planet, all they have to do is just stop eating meat. That’s the single most important thing you could do. It’s staggering when you think about it. Vegetarianism takes care of so many things in one shot: ecology, famine, cruelty.”
--Sir Paul McCartney

  1. Vegetarianism, what would happen if we were all vegetarian? What would we do with all the chickens and cows. Now I try to stay away from beef but man thats a lot of cows running around! Soon they would evolve and take over the planet, then it would be planet of the Cows! I think we should look at all the blacktop as possible source of climate change. Think about it, why are city's warmer than the country side? More cars, buildings and blacktop. I to think there is a climate issue we need to solve but I am no scientist either. I'll leave that for the smart people.

  2. Albert Einstein

"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us _universe_, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
