Doom and Gloom

It has been said by certain people who read this blog that I am suffering from "extreme depression" and that my posts are pessimistic.

Nothing could be farther from the truth.

In fact, I actually think the last post about the pending end of the world is sort of funny. Personally I don't believe that anyone can tell us when the world will end, at least not yet. So in truth, I'm not all that worried about it.

And yes, the planet is in a heap of trouble because of all the damage to the environment but I'm not down about that. I still believe we can change our way of thinking and our way of life and if not turn things around, at least cope with the pending devastation.

Overall, I would say I'm a pretty optimistic person, although very cynical.

You want good news? Ohio State beat Michigan and Oklahoma is going to lose their number two spot after their loss to Texas Tech!
