Say hello to Tyson (firefighter)

I am happy to have been added as a contributor to the Blog of M3, we have been friends forever. You'll find that our opinions and ideas (politics, religion, abortion, silk underwear) sometimes differ greatly. I am sure that will make for some interesting reading. Even after graduating from different schools and living completely different lives, the two of us still manage to keep in touch.

After completing high school, I entered the work field as a mechanic and my old buddy went off to be all he could be (Army). For the next five years or so we hardly ever got to see each other. After returning home from the service my pal took some time to get a higher education at Ohio State University, the home of the best college football team ever. I decided to attend the Ohio Fire Academy at night and get my Professional Firefighter Certification and spent many years as a mechanic and a volunteer firefighter.

One of the funny things I never really thought of until now was that he became a freelance writer and I just here recently started doing freelance photography. Kind of strange, eh? I am still putting out fires all over town and snapping pictures for the paper. Who would have ever guessed that two (I hate to say it) country kids would bust out of town and be so cool (not). I think one of the best ways to succeed in life is to reinvent yourself from time to time. It keeps things fresh and exciting.
