I got a haircut today. The barber, like many good barbers, had some astute comments about politics that I thought really made sense.
First and foremost, no politician gets into politics to do bad things. For the most part, politicians do it to do good things for the country. You could make the argument that they do it for power, etc., but they basically intend to do good things, even if does feed their ego a bit too.
Second, no single person has all the right answers. While nearly all politicians have our nation's best interest at heart, every politician has their own ideas about what should get done first and how it should get done.
But no matter what happens and no matter who gets elected president, the country will continue to move forward.
No matter what you think of Hillary Clinton, if she is elected, it is highly unlikely the country will plunge into a miserable abyss. For that matter, it is unlikely that anything significantly different will happen than if anyone else wins.
