The United States is the largest energy consumer on the planet, and we only make up 5 percent of the world's population. So we've set this impossible standard for developing countries. If you've ever been to a developing country, you know that a lot of them want to be like the all-powerful US of A.
Now what do you think would happen if a country that makes up 20 percent of the world population (China!) used as much energy per capita as us 'mericans?
There is a problem on the horizon. We, the United States, should step up to our role as world leaders and show everyone else that you don't have to drive a giant car and live in a giant house to be a success.
Turn off your computer and lights so you can save some energy! Go home and build a shrine to Al Gore and stop your ignorant liberal rambeling!!

I do turn off my lights and computer when I'm not using them! Al Gore! This is the Pope! The one and only person on the planet who communicates directly with your Christian God! God's representative on Earth! He's telling you to stop consuming so much! It's not healthy!
