I recently got an e-mail from a friend with an inspiring story attached. Along with this story was a video from God Tube. Now here lately I have been in a funk because of my recent adventure to quit smoking but I had to blog about God tube. There is everything from clean comedy to inspirational videos.Some have a problem with the belief in a God but the fact is that the majority of Americans believe in a God.
Opinion Dynamics Corporation conducts an annual poll of registered voters for Fox News. They asked the question: " "Do you personally believe in the existence of each of the following?" followed by a list of 11 items, asked in random order. One of the items was "God." Results were:

So if you are in the mood for some uplifting stories or just in the mood to praise God, visit God Tube.
ODC's poll is skewed because they ask registered voters of Fox News. This is not a representative sample. Fox viewers, especially those who are registered voters, tend to be more politically conservative and religious.
ReplyDelete"A 2006 online Harris Poll of 2,010 U.S. adults (18 and older) found that 73 percent of those surveyed believed in God, with 58 percent being "absolutely certain" and 15 percent "somewhat certain." Eleven percent did not believe in God, and 16 percent were uncertain."
Even the Harris poll is skewed because it's an online poll. People who have Internet access are in general smarter than those who do not (i.e. they have the income to afford a computer).

The CBS poll has a small sample size so may not be that accurate. But basically both the CBS poll and the Harris poll are better than the ODC poll.
