It looks like the honeymoon is over for GOP Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin.

Her first television interview looked horrible!

The most annoying thing is that she kept calling Charles Gibson "Charlie" so many times a minute it drove me crazy, especially the way she said it, in a condescending manner.

She side-stepped several questions and couldn't answer many questions.

Gibson asked her about her statements in front of her church that the war in Iraq was a "task from God." Her answer seemed contrived like she was advised to suggest the comment referenced an Abraham Lincoln quote. But it was obvious that her original comment did not deal with Lincoln.

Then she said that humans have impacted global warming when this is contrary to what she's said in the past.

Regarding Russia, she claims that because "you can actually see Russia from land" in Alaska, that makes her qualified to handle foreign affairs.

She also doesn't know what the "Bush Doctrine" is.

How can this person be a suitable vice-president? McCain would have been better off picking a Hollywood celebrity. It seems from her initial coverage that that was what McCain was after anyway.
