McCain's a Big, Fat Liar

Interesting article about McCain's lies that are even upsetting independents and other Republicans.

Lie 1. McCain claimed Obama was referring to Palin as a pig with lipstick when in fact Obama was referring to McCain's plan for change. McCain himself used the same "lipstick on a pig" expression when referring to Hillary Clinton's health plan. So McCain can call Clinton a pig with lipstick but Obama can't call Palin that?

Lie 2. Perhaps the most ourageous lie... McCain claimed that Obama sponsored a bill to provide "sex education" to kindergarteners. The truth was that Obama's bill would teach kindergarteners about telling mom or dad when someone touches them "in their private spot" to protect them from child predators.

Lie 3. McCain claimed that Obama would raise taxes for middle-income familes. The truth is that Obama's plan CUTS taxes for middle-income families MORE SO than McCain's plan. This was confirmed by multiple independent groups.

Lie 4. McCain lied and said that Fact Check.org, an independent group that checks media facts, confirmed rumors about Palin as coming from Obama. Fact Check.org said this was false.

Lie 5. Also from Fact Check.org, Palin claimed that Alaska provided 20 percent of U.S. energy. The real figure is 3.5 percent of U.S. energy.

Fact Check.org, in fact, has said that McCain's camp has been twice as dishonest as Obama's. And this is the angry old man you want for your president?
