Since my fellow blogger Firefighter frequently claims that liberals lie, I thought I'd post an article I found about conservatives who lie.Forbes Magazine picked apart some of the lies told by Republicans at their convention last night.
Among the most interesting was the often heard argument that Democrats will raise taxes while Republicans won't.
According to Forbes, an independent think tank studied both the McCain plan and the Obama plan and concluded that Obama's plan will increase income for middle-income families by 5 percent while McCain's plan only provides a 3 percent increase.
Obama gets the money to do this by raising taxes for people and businesses making more than $250,000 a year.
In McCain's plan, his taxes are across the board, meaning people who make $25,000 a year get taxed the same as people who make $5 million a year.
The Forbes article also points out that conservatives stretched the truth by saying Palin was "responsible" for 20 percent of the nation's energy supply as governor of Alaska, governor of the "largest" state, and responsible for "national" security as commander of the Alaska National Guard. All stretched truths, or in other words, lies.
You are an idiot! An across the board tax is more fair than punishing the people who make a good living. Why should the people that work hard, seek higher education and strive for a better life pay all the taxes while the loosers that make $20,000 pay none?

A .01% tax on $25,000 a year is $2.50. A .01% tax on 5 million is $500.00. So who is paying all the taxes?
The rich, the ones who employ all the people that make $25,000 a year.

Besides people that make less than $2500 a year are on food stamps and medicade, they make their $2.50 back through government hand out programs.

Most workers in the poverty level are low lifes that use drugs and don't want to work.

The worst thing the Demo-morons could dig up on Palin was a DUI her husband got 20 years ago. A DUI, half of the higher ups in DC are wanted for more than that plus have current DUI's.
Palin's daughter is pregnant, wow. Demo-Morons will have to do better than that.
