So what is the Republican Party telling us about Sarah Palin with the media black out they have her on?
Since her interview with Charles Gibson, she hasn't given another interview and hasn't been allowed to speak to the media entourage that follows her everywhere.
Now sinking to all time lows, the press was not allowed to ask her questions before her meeting with various world leaders at the UN. Instead, they get the pictures of her meeting them, but nothing else.
They are going to great lengths to make sure that she doesn't talk too much. They want everyone to see pictures of her greeting foreign dignitaries, but they don't want us to know what she says.
It's painfully obvious that Palin was picked by the Republicans because she is a woman with a certain personality and not because she has any special experience or expertise.
But unfortunately, this is how people vote nowadays.
They don't care that she's incompetent, as long as she's personable.
I think we learned the same thing from the Geo. Bush II election. He came across as a bumbling boob in the primaries and prior to the election but the Republicans said, "Don't worry, he'll have advisors who are a lot smarter than him!"
So they sold us the good ol' boy and nearly everyone bought it. (Actually not nearly everyone, he did lose the popular vote!)
