Republican Propaganda!

I came across some blatant Republican propaganda today. Generally when I find something in an email or on the Internet that just doesn't sound right, I do a few Internet searches with the info to where it comes from and whether or not it's true.

Here's what I found today and some research that I've conducted:

Obama ran as a Socialist back in '95 and when he could not get elected to the State Congress he joined the Democrat party. Huh? Don't you think that if McCain knew anything about this, he would be jumping all over it? In 1995, Obama was teaching law at University of Chicago (a very well-respected school). His main job though was working for a law firm that specialized in civil rights litigation. In that same year, he decided to run for the Illinois Senate, aiming for Alice Palmer's (a Democrat) seat after she decided to run for the national legislature. He ran on the Democratic ticket. After Palmer failed in the primary election, she decided to stay in the Illinois Senate and asked Obama to back out. He did not back down and ran against Palmer. Later, though, Palmer had to drop out due to some irregularities with her petition to get on the ballot. Obama ran unopposed and won. He's never lost an election for political office in his life.

Obama is still friends with a self-proclaimed Anarchist / Socialist and domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. Hasn't this been beat to death in the mainstream media? But I'll admit that this one could be a close call. When in doubt, I look at FactCheck.org. They do all the research for me and they say this claim is false.

Obama says that their kids go to the same school, but there is some 20 years age difference between Obama's kids and Ayers' kids. What? Obama never said anything like this. Here's what NPR says "They certainly ran in the same liberal Chicago circles in the 1990s and early 2000s. They lived within blocks of each other, and Obama's two daughters now go to the same school Ayers' children attended, though they are now grown." I think Obama said their kids WENT" to the same school. As in the same school building, not like at the same time. Geez!

Obama is anti Gun and has tried several times to out-right ban all firearms. Yeah, he's pro-gun registration. You can check out his full record here. He's a Democrat for goodness sakes! Demoncrats mostly represent urban people and urban people don't like guns because they get shot by them all the time. As far as an "out-right ban," that's a joke. That will never happen as long as I'm alive, no matter how socialist the President and Congress becomes.

Obama is a black racist, and I quote, "White man's greed, rules a Nation indeed." not to mention sitting in a racist church for almost 20 years... listening to Rev. Wright More flat out falsehood. I can't seem to find this particular quote anywhere. Rev. Wright probably said something to this effect but Obama has never. And listening to Rev. Wright? FactCheck had this to say "Wherever we looked we found ample evidence that Obama's church is pro-black, but we found none to support a claim that it is anti-white. Calling it "racist" is, in our judgment, a falsehood."

Then we look at Obama's campaign’s finance donor fraud. Of the staggering $603.2 million raised, a wopping $543.3 million or what works out to be some 90%, comes from "Unknown" individuals most of whom have fakes names and addresses. Using untraceable Gift Cards (Credit cards from Master Card and Visa) purchased with cash from grocery stores, unknown persons are helping steel this election. This is an interesting topic that I hadn't heard about. I was aware McCain opted to take taxpayer money instead of raising his own funds while Obama elected to raise his own funds. But it is patently false that 90 percent of Obama's donations are "unknown." For more info on this, see this.

A few years ago the Clintons found a way to funnel $50 million from China into their Presidential campaign, using Norman Shou, I guess Obama has gone one better. Ah yes, the Clintons.
