In my Internet quest for bluegrass lessons I came across one interesting site. Actually it's a series of sites starting with Bonnie's YouTube channel which includes a number of bluegrass guitar videos. She has a number of really good bluegrass lessons.
This leads me to learn more about Bonnie, who appears to be an interesting person. She travels with her family (at least 10 members strong) on a bus around the country performing bluegrass and gospel music. I think that would be neat but my wife would never go for it.
Her family music site leads me to her blog, which is also interesting.
On her blog she talks about two other web pages which I found interesting. The first is a site that takes the words you frequently use, on a blog for example, and puts them into a graphic display. Like this:
The next site that I found on Bonnie's blog is one that guesses what gender you are based on your blog writing. That site guesses that the blog is written by a male, but admits it's gender neutral. That's interesting!
So this is how my day on the Internet went. From bluegrass lessons to Bonnie to blog analyzers.
Hey, how fun to see me blogged about :) My blog usually tells me about who blogs about me.
ReplyDeleteLooks like an interesting bike project. I ride a little Honda 350 ('72). A Goldwing sounds like fun!! I've been thinking I'd like a bigger bike if I ever did longer rides. Especially with a faring.
Thanks for stopping by, Bonnie. You have an admirer in me. Your bluegrass guitar lessons are great. If you're ever in Western Maryland, let me know. I'd like to see your show.
