New year getting ready for a new ride

I am getting ready for a new ride. I have outgrown my motorcycle and am looking for a new one. The old one has a buyer already so I am getting it ready for sale. The starter gave out on me so I tore it down and put a new set of brushes in it. Tomorrow I will see if it worked (I have faith in my work). It took two men, a torch and some RTV to get it fixed but it's almost done. I am planning on buying an early 80's Goldwing to replace my current little bike. The boys want to do some touring this summer and I want to join. The early 80's Goldwing will put me on a non-Harley wanna be metric bike without too much cost and a large motor. Plus you can customize them to death and they still look cool.

Also it looks like we might be returning to the C&O towpath for another bicycle trip this June. I can't wait to hit the trails again. This time without smoking and I will be better prepared this time.

  1. Only pansies need starters. I like the idea of the Goldwing. Screw that Harley crap. Get a Goldwing and do it up right, make it yours. Anymore the Harley riders are the wanna be's (but with bigger wallets) (except Randy of course, he's the real deal).
