I went five miles on the trail today with the family, test-riding a new Surly Long Haul Trucker.
I went back to the bike shop afterward and ordered the LHT. It should be in next week.
I'll post pictures when I get it.
It was my annual extravagant purchase and the most expensive bike I've ever purchased. I sold a bunch of guitar equipment on eBay to raise the funds.
I spent part of the day stripping of all the racks, fenders, brackets and such from my bike so I can transfer them on to the new bike.
I can't wait to get her loaded down and on the trail.

Randy just bought a 1/2 gallon flask, did you order one of these?
ReplyDelete1/2 Gallon! That's no longer a flask, it's an alcohol problem. No, I didn't buy one. As cool as it is, I can't give up the space.
