Well I am on the eve of another great adventure with my pals. Friday we leave for the Great Allegheny Passage, a 150-mile system of biking and hiking trails that will connect Cumberland, MD and Pittsburgh, PA when completed.
Our trip, for me is shadowed by several things. For one the fact I am not working right now and our "I am going to save the world" Liberal president isn't doing anything about it. Everyone cried at Bush when gas went up, now no one talks. Liberal media is more worried about the flu, Korea and Health Care.
One thing is for sure, the company I work for is banking on the launch of the 2010 Ford Taurus. If it fails, my company fails. My company fails, it is curtains for me. With the gas prices going up and consumer confidence on a thin line, it looks like it might be disaster for Ford.
With that being said, I have a call back date in July. That is when the 2010 Taurus begins production. After my trip down the Great Allegheny Passage and my family vacation to Florida.
I could always get a job with Madsen Cycles, building their great cargo bikes.
