Crazy!

This is appalling. The local school system sent a note home asking parent permission for students to watch President Obama's address to school children. Parent permission?

Since when do schools have to ask parent permission to watch the the country's president speak on TV? How many times have any of us watched the president or a president speak on TV while in school? Since when do we start censoring the president?

This entire thing was instigated by radical right-wing conservatives who are afraid of a black president, conservatives who have drifted to the radical fringe because the American masses are tired of their crap, greedy conservatives who have lost power in their plight to bleed this country dry and extort the little guy.

Conservatives argue that it's not really about the speech but about lesson plans that were distributed which teachers could optionally use to accompany the speech. These conservatives distorted the intent and meaning of these lesson plans to make people think that this was some sort of socialist indoctrination.

This really demonstrates how stupid the conservative base really is. The Republican party in this country has changed to be a small group of elite businessmen bleeding the country dry while garnering support from the mass of ignorant social conservatives who are made to believe that liberals are trying to take away their guns and steal their money.
