Bad Karma

You know, I of all people can tell you Karma is crap. Yes crap! I have done so many nice things for people and been shit on afterwords! I cast Karma to the dogs. Just yesterday, I help a stranded female motorist change a flat tire in the snow. Well, not exactly in the snow. I was leaving the fire house (after dark) and noticed a woman pull into the parking lot. She got out and looked at her tire. Curious, I stopped and asked her if she was OK. Of course it was flat. So I pulled out our medic unit and pulled her SUV in. I changed her tire and even gave her a blanket to place the wet dirty tire on so as not to mess up her nice vehicle. Did I mention I had stopped just because someone left the lights on in the truck bay? I wasn't even suppose to be there! Did the Karma help me sleep last night, no it didn't. Did Karma help me pick winning lottery numbers, no. No no no no no no no, every time I do something nice I pay for it three or four times. I bet my tire will be flat in the morning and I will be late for work. I do something nice, I pay the price.

  1. Good Christians don't believe in Karma. God is the judge of your actions, your past actions are not the judge of your future actions.

    But then again...

So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Matthew 7:12/Luke 6:31

    And again...

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7

    And...

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10
