Just a quick note to those that care.

I am in the Hospital. It seems that when I took sick last Friday, it was more that just a stomach virus. I have a blockage in the upper left quadrant of my small intestine. I have been getting better but the blockage is not doing what the doctors want... Worst case is surgery. I am shooting for something a little less invasive. Prayers are welcome.

As for taxes...

The company you work for pays taxes on the wages that it pays to you the worker. Then from that already taxed money you pay additional taxes before you can spend your own money. This is the withheld taxes. Now that you have a % of your money left after paying withheld taxes, you are taxed every time you spend your money. Buy gas... you might pay over $.50 per gallon in tax. Buy durable goods you pay a sales tax. then if you have to go some place to use that durable good you might have to pay another tax. Own a phone pay a tax. Watch TV pay a tax. Everything you do has a federal or state tax that goes along with it. I own a small utility trailer. The tags (the little sticker you buy every year) for my trailer are $3.oo, however, the taxes for that trailer are $34.00 every year, WHY?

You pay a bed tax if you stay at a hotel... the list goes on and on and on. Everything is taxed to death. Why do we need to spend anther $845 billion that they will have to pay for with increased taxes?

I say we are living in a Socialistic Society already. I believe it will be worse... before it gets better.
