READY! To Assemble.

I'm taking a break in the midst of assembling some new office furniture. The catch phrase with furniture like this is "Ready to Assemble." It's almost as if the furniture should arrive and assemble itself. After all, it is ready.

But no, sadly it's more like put it together your damned self. The furniture is not ready for anything. It just sits there, no matter how hard I stare at it. But I suppose "Put It Together Your Damned Self" is not as catchy as "Ready to Assemble."

One box of Ready to Assemble furniture was almost bigger than the furniture it produced. Why couldn't they put the damned thing together and put it in the box?

Now what am I going to do with these huge empty boxes?

  1. Give the giant boxes to the kiddo and the pug. They will figure out something to do with them!
