Another ride, another new piece added on. I added a handle bag bar, Randy made mention that it would be a good spot for small stuff, small stuff like cameras, wallet, watch, keys, etc.So I had to hit the trail and test out my new pouch. I can't tell you how happy I am with it. My camera fits in well.
Tonight my daughter, one of her friends and I went for a short ride. Not the 20-mile, 2-hour training trip I am used to but a fun ride in the evening sun.
Sadly my riding buddy couldn't come with me, he had family matters to tend to. But he will be back with me on Wednesday. The excitement is building, the time is getting closer and I am about out of things to buy!
Yes, the handlebar bag is a good addition. I have one that hangs over both the front and back. It has a built in map holder on the back side. Nice.
ReplyDeleteDid you look for a mountable light for the front and back incase you have to ride into the night hours? I have to go into town later tonight and will look around while I am in there and see if I see something that could help you out on that I thought I saw some of them at Wal-mart it was like $10 for front.

ReplyDeleteI don't think you'll need a light. We will have plenty of day light. There will be the Paw Paw tunnel which is dark but if you bring a regular flashlight you should be good. I have lights on my bike plus I'll bring a flashlight.
