I found out about Blackle today. Is it possible that limiting color can save energy? Here is the theory; it takes more energy to power a screen with lots of color or graphics. Sounds good to me but is this true? I just can't find anything to say about this Blackle. I have done a few searches and they all come up good so I guess it is worth a shot. From now on I am going with www.blackle.com, what have I got to lose.

There are around 22 different versions of “black google” online. The best one I’ve found is www.cleanblack.com. Cleanblack is the only version that allows you to change the text colors of the google search results. Try it yourself by going to www.cleanblack.com/theme/
