Super Bowl Fashion

I've been busy so I haven't posted very much lately but I've got a couple things running through my head.

The first is the Super Bowl. What's with the sweatshirt that Patriot's Coach Bill Belichick was wearing? I understand that he has become almost famous for wearing a sweatshirt this season, but why cut off the sleeves? It looks stupid. I thought it was hot in that stadium. Just take the damned thing off. Cutting the sleeves off made him look totally ridiculous and it could be why the Patriots lost (I'm still trying to confirm this or at least develop a hypothesis).

And then there were the earrings on the Giants' side. I saw more than a couple of Giants' players wearing huge diamond studs in both ears. Doesn't this get in the way of a helmet? What happens if you get get hit in the helmet and pushing one of those studs into the side of your head? There should be some safety issue there.

But fashion faux pas aside, I'm glad the Giants won.
