Back in the Buckeye State, my travel partner and I decided to opt for a case of MRE's for the epic journey. Why? Price, space, and practicality. We are not turning down M3's beans and rice, just adding some diversity ( we are firefighters we EAT!). But we plan to share so the three of us can enjoy fine army surplus food! That means we will need an extra roll of bathroom tissue (possibly even some wet wipes)!Epic journeys call for epic food, so if the US military can live on MRE's so can we.
I don't know, based on my experience with MRE's, I don't think you'll need toilet paper for about a week after eating an MRE.
