Finally Richard Nixon brought the US military home.
Vietnam 58,222 soldiers dead for a lost war, an entire generation of America's youth destroyed.
Now who is the war monger?
Eisenhower started the war and it probably would have been a success if Nixon had worked with Congress to continue funding the South Vietnamese had he not been so wrapped up in Watergate and getting impeached.
ReplyDeleteYa right, the Vietnam war was lost from the begining. Too much micro managment going on there. Nixon had to clean up LBJ's mess. You must be brain washed. Eisenhower on sent over advisors and surplus WW2 guns. He didn't deadicate the entire US military like LBJ.

4000 us troops have been killed in Iraq, almost 50% non combat related deths ie heart conditions, drug overdose, auto accidents stuff like that.

Hey, I'm just telling you John McCain's opinion. He thinks the war was won up until Nixon was forced by Congress to cut funding and air support to the South Vietnamese.
