Redneck, I am not a redneck.............................

A coworker called me a redneck the other day, me of all people. The local computer nerd and photographer. Redneck in my book is like using the N word to reference an African American. What the hell was he thinking calling me a redneck? I have all of my teeth, my truck is one solid color. I pee indoors and can carry on a sophisticated conversation with just about anyone.

Redneck refers to a person who is stereotypically Caucasian and of lower socio-economic status in the United States and Canada, particularly referring to those living in rural areas. Originally limited to the Southern United States,[1] and then to Appalachia,[2] the term has become widely used throughout North America.
