Allow me to digress for a moment, take a break from the Epic Journey, and share some interesting things that have been piling up in my brain.

Cool site alert... Arthur's Hall of Viking Manliness, very funny and good stuff. I especially like the 50 Do's and Don't's for Real Men. It's very true and funny. Read it, you'll like it.

Wacko on the Internet alert... Bible Life Ministries takes a near militant stance against vegetarians, claiming that 80 percent of people with Crohn's Disease and other ailments are vegetarians. This is completely false and it makes no sense to me why this nut job is attacking vegetarians. Besides, Jesus was a vegetarian, right? ; )

Very funny alert... Stuff White People Like, it's a very funny blog that's being turned into a book.

You never know alert... This doesn't quite fit into the wacko column, in my opinion anyway. But here's a blog by a survivalist who is preparing for Armageddon. There are some good thoughts on preparedness, but perhaps it's taken just a little too far.
