Put the Christmas lights up last weekend and lo and behold, it seems many of the houses around me have doubled the number of lights they've put up this year.
So I was out on the roof again today, putting up just a few more strings of lights. I will not be outdone!

We used to go out the day after Christmas and buy up extras strands for the next Christmas when they on sale. The last year we were in the states trying to get all the lights on the house was fun, we kept tripping breakers when plugged in the last few strands. That might be a clue that we had a few too many lights.
